Summer Serve and Learn is a volunteer program by Ghana Health and Education Initiative that offers participants the chance to be immersed in a rural Ghanaian community in support of a small community development organisation.
the symbol was drawn keeping in mind the Adinkra symbols, which is an integral part of the visual culture of Ghana. inspired by elements of nature it is the symbiosis of the sun and the earth coming together to form an ecosystem; a metaphor for coming together as a community and bring a change.
borrowing stroke structure from the traditional kente fabric, the logo mark has been designed for the times ahead enwraped in the Pan-African colours: red, gold, and green; tweaked for digital platforms.
